James Whitemore is Indeed’s Chief Marketing Officer, leading Indeed’s global marketing organization, overseeing brand, category, lifecycle, country and field marketing and go-to-market, in addition to global communications and the Indeed Hiring Lab. With more than two decades of experience driving growth at the intersection of technology, marketing, and customer insight, James brings a deep understanding of how to align brand and performance marketing to deliver measurable impact.

Senior Economist

Jack Kennedy is an economist on the Indeed Hiring Lab specialising in labour market trends in the UK and Ireland. He has an extensive background as an economist in the financial services industry and in the production of macroeconomic indicators. His research is published on the Indeed Hiring Lab blog, while he is also a regular commentator on the labour market to the media and speaker at events.

Performance Director

Brentford FC

Ben Ryan is Brentford FC’s Performance Director. He is best known for coaching Fiji’s rugby sevens team to Olympic gold at the 2016 Rio Games, securing the nation’s first-ever Olympic medal. Prior to his work with Fiji, Ben coached England Sevens and helped establish the foundations for a high-performance environment at international level.

Since leaving rugby full time, he worked as a consultant for world class athletes, organisations and teams specialising in culture and improving high performance. In June 2022, Ben joined Brentford FC and his current role focuses on maximising performance across the club, bringing together expertise in areas including player and staff development, medical and performance support, operations, nutrition, research, innovation and player care.

Vice President UK & Ireland

Conor McCarthy is the Vice President of Sales for UKI at Indeed, leading the company’s sales organisation across the UK and Ireland. He is focused on building Indeed’s ecosystem across both markets, helping to shape product direction and inform market investment so Indeed can better serve employers and job seekers alike. Conor is passionate about Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs, with a particular interest in supporting job seekers who face barriers in the labour market. Conor is also interested in how responsible AI can help deliver better hiring outcomes for both job seekers and employers. Prior to joining Indeed in 2015, he held a range of sales and marketing leadership roles in the technology sector.

Kat Billet-Ward is an Enterprise Sales Director at Indeed, leading the company’s RPO EMEA business. During her 8.5 years at Indeed, Kat has worked across multiple organisations within the business, building broad experience in helping employers and recruitment partners develop effective hiring strategies and connect with the talent they need. She is also a passionate advocate for Women at Indeed and is committed to supporting greater representation, development and opportunity across the organisation.

Senior Marketing Director

Garreth Hayes is Senior Marketing Director for UK, Benelux and Ireland at Indeed, where he leads marketing across brand, demand generation and partnerships. He has more than 25 years’ international marketing experience across B2B and consumer businesses.

Garreth has played a leading role in Indeed’s growing partnership with Brentford FC, which this season sees Indeed become the club’s principal and front-of-shirt partner. The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared belief in the importance of finding, developing and getting the best from talent — on and off the pitch.
